XANTHE HAMILTON
Founder and Director
A documentary filmmaker, fundraiser and festival director, Xanthe's been off round the world filming since her early 20s. She set up her own production company in 2006 specialising in promotional films for the non-profit sector. Xanthe founded and directed the Branchage Jersey International Film Festival in 2008 and has raised £1000s for a range of charities over the past five years.

INDIA HAMILTON
Project Manager
India comes from the life-science industry where she worked for a DNA profiling company. There she gained experience of case management, customer services, laboratory skills and report writing. With a keen interest in business, film and charity fundraising she has since assisted with the set up of MIX TV Ltd, Beat Happening Media and MATTER Mongolia.

FIONA FLETCHER
General Manager
After graduating, Fiona worked for leading telephone fundraising company Pell & Bales – supporting accounts for high-profile charity clients. Motivated by her long-time interest in film, she joined Birds Eye View Festival, working up to a position as lead Progammer. She has freelanced extensively and formed relationships in the film community in the UK and internationally.

JENNY HORWELL
Project Manager
After completing an MA in Documentary Research at University of the Arts London, Jenny worked as a researcher, coordinator and assistant producer for factual television and documentary films. She moved into film festival administration in 2008, where her strengths in people management, copy-writing, event-planning and project management have been put to use for London-based Birds Eye View Film Festival, Branchage Jersey International Film Festival and the 52nd BFI London Film Festival.

TAMARA MOORE
Office Manager
Since graduating from the University of the Arts London in 2008 with a degree in Journalism, Tamara has worked and trained in feature film production (stills photographer and assistant producer) and on the film festival circuit. Her involvement with the East End Film Festival in 2009 led her on to be one of the newest valuable members of MATTER.

PHILIP ILSON
Festival & Event Programmer
Philip founded The Halloween Society short film club in 1994, continuing until 2003 when he and Kate Taylor organised the first Halloween Short Film Festival at the ICA, which became the London Short Film Festival in January 2008. Philip also co-founded the Volcano Independent Film Festival in 1996, Kentra multi-media club event in 1998, and the British Council's Sensurround multi-media club extravaganza. He was Short Film Programmer at the Curzon Soho in 2005 and since 2006 he has been a Short Film Programmer at the BFI London Film Festival. From January 2008, he has also programmed the East End Film Festival.
